Just the other day I was just a Mom
A Mom who looked at you with pride
And now, you went so far to the Lord that I have begun to miss you so much that my tears have dried
Somewhere beyond the clouds
I know that’s where you are
I will see you when the sun sets
And you will look at me like a shining star
Julien, your memory is my treasure
With which I will never part
I know the Lord has you in his keeping
But I have you in my heart.
Merry Heart and your Mom will always think about with pride with each mention of your name.
Your departure cannot change a single thing as our Love to you will always remain 🌹 - Your Mom
Merry Heart Senior Care Services Executive Vice President Julien Bonifacio passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer.
The Merry Heart Health Care Community notes with great sorrow the passing of Julien Bonifacio, Executive Vice President. He served Merry Heart in various capacities including Administrator, Staff Educator, and above all, an extremely caring Nurse. His invaluable leadership during the time of transition from the old Merry Heart to the state-of-the-art new Merry Heart in 2005 gave a new dimension to the overall operations of Merry Heart.
As an Executive Marketing graduate of the Wharton School of Business, he was responsible for giving Merry Heart a highly respected image in the healthcare community. His excellent interpersonal relationships with leading physicians in the community, his intellectual depth, and astounding energy raised the standard of Merry Heart Health Care to greater heights.
Will continue to miss his presence at Merry Heart...
- Vishal Chheda, LNHA, Administrator, Merry Heart Health Care Center
We the Merry Heart family (staff) will feel the loss of Julien’s presence for years to come. Julien made it his top priority to get to know the staff, residents, and the families. This hands-on approach was the foundation of the stellar reputation of Merry Heart. He was a great contributor to the future growth of his family run business. He was a pioneer in advancing Merry Heart’s technology to ensure that we had the finest programs to assist in interfacing with hospitals, healthcare facility and the community.
His warm smile and gentle heart made him so approachable to discuss all ideas either from residents, family or staff. If it would better a resident’s day Julien wanted to make it happen.
As we look back at all his accomplishments, we remember a True Leader and a Friend.
- Jennifer M. Morato, CALA, Executive Director, Merry Heart Assisted Living
Remembering Julien
Losing Julien is like losing my eldest son, Luigi, who passed away in a shooting accident 15 years ago. They were born in the same year, 1977, both were good-looking, well disciplined and smart. Most specially, both were exemplary leaders in their own fields. Julien left an indelible mark in the field of Nursing and Business Management because of his many contributions to what Merry Heart has become through the years.
Julien was the driving force behind Merry Heart’s operations – whether it be in care, marketing, networking, financial management and overall administration. He inspired all employees to reach their fullest potentials to deliver their utmost in creativity and productivity. I grew up in maturity as an employee through Julien’s clever way of challenging me to do better than my best. His resilience to strive for excellence augured well in me now when it comes to projecting the best version of who I am as an Activity Director, especially in the area of process improvement.
